Quantum relaxed row and column iteration methods based on block-encoding

چکیده

Iteration method is commonly used in solving linear systems of equations. We present quantum algorithms for the relaxed row and column iteration methods by constructing unitary matrices iterative processes, which generalize to solve on a computer. Comparing with conventional methods, convergence accelerates when appropriate parameters are chosen. Once states efficiently prepared, complexity our improved exponentially number steps. In addition, phase estimations Hamiltonian simulations not required these algorithms.

On row-column directed block designs

Given a BIBD(v,k,A) we can construct a directed BIBD(v,k,A*) by writing each block of the BIBO twice, the second time in the reversed order. Here we prove the analagous expected but useful result that if a BIBD(v,b,r ks,k,A) exists, then a RCOBIBD(v,k,A *} also exists. A nonexistence result is also given.
